We found another problem in JLA Extraordinary General Meeting 2005 1st, we'll hold another JLA Extraordinary General Meeting 2005 2nd online.

I found too many messages in mail queue. Most of these were bounced mails between emh.de and more than 20000 messages. It took 10 minutes or so to delete by "postsuper -d".

After cleaning up mail queue, I sent meeting call message to JLA members.

Noticed that content update process of http://jla.linux.or.jp/ failed since the server was ugpraded to sarge.

It is because some ruby scripts used to update content didn't work correctly with sarge's ruby.

• required 'erb/stringio', but it was also disappeared. Use 'stringio' instead. there are no alternatives of ERbStrIO.as_stdout.

• warnings against 'r.push(yield year)'. replace it as 'r.push(yield(year))'

Linux support corp. guide is distributed. It is one that was provided at Linux Conference 2005. It summarize companies that are offering Linux services. It would be nice advertisement for such companies so that it might be worth to join JLA.

JLA Extraordinary General Meeting 2005 1st that I setup June 27th when I felt sick had several problem since I just reconfigure usual anual general meeting system, but this time is not annual and just online call, so I need to refactor more than just reconfiguration.

I fix this issues. I think we should create more better system from scratch, but I don't get enough time and motivation to do this...

JLA trustee meeting is held today.

Main topic of today's meeting is review of closing account of last year and reconsideration of budgets of this year. It seems to be mismatch in balance transfer. Office secretary will fix this and we'll have extraordinary general meeting regarding on this issue online on end of this Month.

We discuss Linux Conference. Recently, it is held with LinuxWorld Tokyo that is organized by IDG. They afford the space, but various arrangement are not settled near the time limit. This year, we have 21 papers submitted and 15 paper accepted. We expect more papers. We wonder the reason of few papers are the saeson and more papers would be submitted if we have Linux Conference on Autumn as we did ago.

Anyway, most biggest event of JLA is Linux Conference, and this was already finished. Thus, most activities of this year has already been done. What should we do in this year?

As for Linux Conference 2005, programming committee will have a review meeting soon.

JLA General Meeting 2005 is held today. I've been president of JLA for 4 years. It's time to shift to the new generation. I resign president today. By office work failure, we found a budget is unsuitable and we agree we need to reconsider a proper budget. Boards will propose new bugdet and discuss on this some day.

First topic of today's meeting is questionnaire by http://www.dpc.or.jp/ regarding knowledge database for opensource. We'll help this by distributing the questionnaire through members' mailing-list. (The questionnaire is Excel file and it seems somehow broken on gnumeric and/or oocalc. I wonder why they use Excel file to ask this kind of questionnaire to open source community....)

Next topic is agenda of annual general meeting, mainly, plan of next year's activities, personnel affairs of trustees.

We discussed on other topics, such as Linux Conference 2005 or so.

At 7:02 on Aprl 26th 2005, minori (cvs, irc servers at el of JLA) has some trouble. kernel seems to be alive since it replys ping, but we can't login via ssh. Hmm, high load average or memory slashing?
