Shawn Soon-son Kwon, Samsong guy and leader of KLDP, visits Japan now. Today after he visited OSDL Japan, he had time. So, gniibe arrange social gathering with him, OSDL Japan and FSIJ, at Tsukiji Tanukiya.

We enjoyed to discuss OSS possibilities in CE industries (or CE industries opportunities in OSS). We talked the possibilities to have CodeFest China, Japan and Korea same time. At first time, we just have CodeFest different place same time, and in future, we collaborates hacking in CodeFest different place same time.

JLA trustee meeting is held today.

Main topic of today's meeting is review of closing account of last year and reconsideration of budgets of this year. It seems to be mismatch in balance transfer. Office secretary will fix this and we'll have extraordinary general meeting regarding on this issue online on end of this Month.

We discuss Linux Conference. Recently, it is held with LinuxWorld Tokyo that is organized by IDG. They afford the space, but various arrangement are not settled near the time limit. This year, we have 21 papers submitted and 15 paper accepted. We expect more papers. We wonder the reason of few papers are the saeson and more papers would be submitted if we have Linux Conference on Autumn as we did ago.

Anyway, most biggest event of JLA is Linux Conference, and this was already finished. Thus, most activities of this year has already been done. What should we do in this year?

As for Linux Conference 2005, programming committee will have a review meeting soon.
